Which package is right for my business?
Ultimately, the answer to this will come down to your budget. All three packages will help you generate more traffic and leads through your website. All three will position you as an industry expert in your field. And all three will help generate more revenue. However, the more content we produce and add to your website, the more traffic we can attract, which will ultimately mean more leads for your business. How does the process work?
When you sign up for one of our three lead generation packages we’ll conduct an introductory call to learn more about what you want to accomplish with the program. After that call, we will send you our digital marketing services agreement for your review and approval and schedule our first quarterly strategy session. Prior to our strategy session, we will send you links to our tone and messaging template and our buyer persona template. Both templates are extremely easy to complete and won’t take much time at all. During our strategy session, we will review the persona and messaging template, discuss where you want to focus your marketing energy over the next 3 months and develop a content calendar to get you there. Our team will take away the plan and turn it into reality! You will be updated all through the process and we’ll deliver all materials on time.
What is HubSpot and do I need it?
HubSpot is an online platform that ties inbound marketing, sales and service together under one umbrella. HubSpot is a tool that helps companies do a few things: increase the traffic to their website, give them tools to turn more of that traffic into leads to follow up and ultimately close those leads into customers.
By using HubSpot, you negate the need to use a lot of independent and often disconnected tools to accomplish your goals (i.e. email tools like MailChimp or Constant Contact, SEO tools, marketing automation and the list gets long). HubSpot takes all of those tools that you need to execute on inbound marketing; to attract people to your site, to turn them into leads and then nurture them to become customers and puts them into one platform.
Do we have say in the development and final version of the content?

Why do some packages have 600-800 word blogs while others have 400-600?
Research shows that Google, and other search engines, are giving priority to longer-form content. Meaning that longer, high-quality, articles are ranking better than shorter articles. Better rankings, typically means more traffic and more traffic results in more leads.
How do we receive the blogs?
The blog articles will be sent to you via email evenly spaced out over the quarter (4 per month or 6 per month depending on your package). The blogs will come formatted for posting and optimized for the agreed upon keyword/phrase, all you need to do is copy and paste it onto your site.
What is the difference between a tip sheet and an eBook?
Both pieces are designed to generate leads by providing valuable content that visitors are willing to provide their contact details in exchange for. Tip sheets are 1-2 page documents that help the reader with an actionable task (i.e. “12 things to check to ensure your data security is top notch”). An eBook is a longer form of content, typically 5 pages, that more about strategy and insight than tactics. (i.e. “The top trends that will re-shape your finance department next year”).
What is a landing page?
A landing page is a standalone page on your website that requires the visitor to complete a form before they can download a tip sheet or an eBook. This is a critical part of your lead generation program and it’s how we convert those nameless visitors into leads you can nurture and close.
How are the email newsletters sent out?
The email newsletters are sent using your existing email marketing tool like HubSpot, MailChimp, etc. We do this for a number of reasons including compliance with anti-spam legislation as well as to provide you with complete control over the lists, content, history and analytic data. If you don’t have an email marketing tool in place we can help you get it setup.
What is included in the SEO monitoring and improvements?
Throughout the quarter we will monitor your core website pages to see how they are performing in search engine rankings. We will recommend and implement changes to help improve your rankings. This will include things like keyword placement, image optimization, compliance with SEO standards, including semantically related keywords to improve your reach and much more.
What is a buyer persona?
A buyer persona is a fictional representation of your target clients. It identifies a variety of demographic and sociographic traits, trends and triggers for them and their industry. Developing and updating buyer personas allows us to create better content as we can target the messaging specifically to their needs and challenges. Once completed, you own the buyer persona and can use it in countless other ways such as sales training, product development, customer service and more.
What is brand messaging / tone definition?
Similar to the buyer persona, the messaging and tone document gives us insight into your brand, needs and objectives. It helps us understand if you prefer a witty/emotional writing style or something more formal and technical. This document allows us to create content that you will love because it will align with your brand and core values.
What is included in the monthly reports?
The monthly reports will include the key metrics for items our programs have an impact on. The Lead Basics reporting includes the number of leads, website traffic, tip sheet / eBook downloads. The Lead Essentials and Lead Machine reporting include all of those as well as email open rates, email click-through rates and keyword position ranking. All of these numbers are compared month over month so you can see the progress your lead generation program is making.
What is included in the quarterly strategy session?
The quarterly strategy session is where we plan out our content strategy for the next three months so that we are all on the same page and working towards a common goal. This session is critical because it is what allows us to tie the lead generation program to your specific business goals. We decide what blogs we will write, what the focus of the tip sheet and eBook will be, SEO and keyword strategies. This session typically lasts 60 minutes and is conducted in person or via video conference (depending on location).
Are there any extra costs or hidden fees?
Absolutely not. The price you see above is the price you’ll pay. Of course, you could always choose to add additional services to a quarterly program if you want an extra boost but those projects would be priced and bill separately keeping everything straight-forward and transparent.
How is billing handled?
Billing is done via credit card and is billed at the first of each quarter. Payment is due upon receipt and all prices are in Canadian dollars.
